We should all be aware of the importance of taking a daily multivitamin. The hard part is figuring out which one is the best for you. With the Different Types of Vitamins and multivitamins, it’s difficult and confusing at times to figure out which one will benefit you best.
Vitamins and minerals are two of the main types of nutrients that your body needs to survive and stay healthy. So what are the different types of multivitamins and how do you know which one is the best for you?
Multivitamins are necessary. They vary greatly in content, price and, maybe most important, form, the three most common being tablet, softgel capsule and liquid. Each type has it’s pros and cons that should be considered when buying a multivitamin. Multivitamins are supplements that contain many different vitamins and minerals.Â
There are two Different Types of Vitamins Groups:
- Fat Soluble Vitamins –  Fat soluble vitamins are stored in the fatty tissues and can be stored in the body for longer periods of time to be eventually consumed. They include Vitamin A, Vitamin D, Vitamin E and Vitamin K
- Water Soluble Vitamins –Â Water soluble vitamins can not be stored in the body as they are excreted out in the urine by the excretory system and need to be taken regularly. These include Vitamin B and Vitamin C.
Multivitamins aren’t right for everyone and may even harm some individuals. There are so many different multivitamins that it’s hard for any one to know which one to take. Multivitamins are filled with different vitamins and minerals.
Unless you go to a doctor and find out what you are deficient in, you’ll have no idea. Unless you go do this you’ll have no idea if you need more vitamin C, vitamin D or vitamin E. This is why multivitamins are different for every individual. Don’t let this scare you or confuse you into not taking a multivitamin at all.
You could also go into any pharmacy and ask the pharmacist what he recommends for you. They could most like be able to recommend you something based on your sex and age. This is because the older you get the more deficient you tend to become in certain vitamins and minerals. Also women might need more of one vitamin or mineral than men do.
Just take a natural multivitamin and well call it a win win. Or go to any vitamin store and ask for recommendations.
Stop confusing yourself. Don’t be scared to take one of the many multivitamins there are out there. It is better to have extra of something than be deficient in it. Like I mentioned earlier, your doctor is probably your best bet if you want the ideal vitamin for you.
I know some married couples that both take the same multivitamin and they are perfectly fine. I know a family where the whole family takes the same vitamins. Why can’t they just make it easier on us.
Nourishing your body with the proper diet, vitamins and minerals is indisputably important. You need to seek professional advice if you want to know what your body is deficient in. This way you’ll be more aware of the vitamins and minerals your body needs.
Because if you walk into a vitamin store you’ll be overwhelmed by the amount of multivitamin bottles you’ll see. You could ask the clerk what they recommend, they should know more than us normal people do. Whatever you do, dont let all the Different Types of Vitamins scare you or overwhelm you. God bless!
